Autumn / Winter 21
A second seasonal Edgars Beauty content chapter, created to give each brand story space to live through short-form video, styling, set direction and locally relevant beauty storytelling.
Campaign Previews
Edgars Beauty Autumn / Winter 21 continued the seasonal content platform established earlier in the year, but repeating the Spring / Summer formula was never the objective.
The challenge was to evolve a creative system that was already working.
Once again, multiple international beauty and luxury brands needed to retain their individual identities while belonging to the wider Edgars Beauty world. This time, however, we also needed to demonstrate that the platform could change season, mood and product focus without losing its underlying creative discipline.
Autumn / Winter gave us an opportunity to shift the visual language.
The brighter energy of Spring / Summer gave way to richer styling, more considered pacing and new approaches to set, texture, movement and product behaviour. Each concept began with the codes of the individual brand rather than a predetermined campaign aesthetic.
This distinction was important.
A seasonal platform should create consistency without forcing every brand through the same creative treatment. Our role was to identify what needed to remain recognisable and then create enough freedom around it for each product story to have its own character.
The result was a collection of short-form narratives that could feel markedly different from one another while still making sense together.
Working within the same compact production model demanded precision.
Styling, set design, framing, pacing and performance were used to create visual scale without depending on large production footprints. Small changes in material, light, movement and composition allowed us to move between different brand worlds efficiently while protecting the quality and individuality of each piece.
Because the content was designed specifically for social viewing, every idea also needed to communicate quickly. Product, mood and brand recognition had to work together from the opening frames rather than relying on longer-form storytelling to establish context.
The campaign demonstrated that a disciplined production framework does not have to result in formulaic creative.
It can do the opposite.
Once the right system exists, it creates room to experiment.

Together, the Spring / Summer and Autumn / Winter campaigns developed Edgars Beauty into a flexible seasonal content platform rather than a collection of unrelated brand assets. The framework could accommodate different brands, products, aesthetics and seasonal moods while maintaining a consistent level of creative direction across the wider campaign. For Monks Media, the second chapter proved something equally important: scalability does not have to mean repetition. A strong creative system should be recognisable by its thinking, not because everything looks the same.
